Southwest's Mini-Centrifuges are perfect
for spin-downs and other small tube work.
They comes with two user changeable
rotors; One rotor holds six 1.5ml or 2.0ml
micro-tubes. The second rotor holds 2 PCR
strip tubes or up to sixteen 0.2ml
micro-tubes. Also included are six adapters
which allow the round rotor to centrifuge
0.5ml micro-tubes. The six place rotor
produces up to 2000 x g RCF while the strip
rotor produces up to 2200 x g RCF.
The Southwest mini's are versatile, powerful
little centrifuges at a really great price. They
come with a 1-year warranty and choice of
Red or Blue color.
Southwest Science's six-place mini-centrifuges are high
quality minis offered at a very attractive price. They are
assembled in the same factory, using many of the same
components, as the name brand unit, but are offered by
Southwest at less than half the name brand price. Each mini
comes with two rotors (round and strip) and six inserts like the
name brand units and they provide the same performance
(2000 x g at 6000 rpm) as the name brand units. Southwest's
minis also come with a 1-year warranty which is equal to or
better than some of the name brand units. You can pay twice
as much or more but you will not get a better mini!
